Etiquette, Consent & Safety

OUR COMMUNITY GUIDE

Welcome. The experiences facilitated through our platform are built on a foundation of trust, safety, and mutual respect. A truly profound and relaxing session is only possible when both the client and the practitioner feel safe, respected, and clear on the boundaries of their interaction.

This guide is designed to provide clear, straightforward principles for conduct. We ask all users of this platform—both clients and the practitioners we feature—to read and uphold these standards. By fostering a community that prioritizes safety and clear communication, we ensure a better, more positive experience for everyone.

The Three Pillars of a Positive Experience

Every successful session is built upon three core pillars:

  1. Communication: Open, honest, and respectful conversation before, during, and after the session. Assumptions have no place in a safe interaction.

  2. Consent: Enthusiastic, freely-given, and continuous agreement. Consent is not a one-time “yes”—it is an ongoing dialogue. It can be given and revoked at any time, for any reason.

  3. Respect: Acknowledging the dignity, boundaries, and humanity of the other person. This includes respect for their time, their profession, and their personal space.

Client Etiquette: A Guide for a Great Session

As a client, your conduct is key to creating a comfortable and professional environment. Following these etiquette guidelines will ensure you have the best possible experience.

Before Your Session:

  • Practice Good Hygiene: Please arrive clean and freshly showered. This is a standard sign of respect for the practitioner and their professional space.

  • Be Clear and Honest: When booking your session, be upfront about your desires, expectations, and any hard boundaries you may have. This allows the practitioner to understand if they are the right fit for you.

  • Be On Time: Practitioners are professionals who manage their time carefully. Respect their schedule by arriving at the agreed-upon time. If you are running late, communicate this as soon as possible.

During Your Session:

  • Participate in the Boundary Conversation: A professional practitioner will initiate a conversation about touch, pressure, and boundaries at the start of the session. Engage in this conversation honestly.

  • Speak Up: The practitioner is not a mind reader. If something feels good, say so. If something makes you uncomfortable, you must say so immediately. “No,” “Stop,” or “I don’t like that” are complete sentences and will be respected.

  • Stay Present: The best experiences happen when you are relaxed and focused on the sensations. Put away your phone and allow yourself to be fully present.

  • Respect the Practitioner’s Boundaries: Remember that the practitioner also has boundaries. They are there to provide a professional service. Do not make assumptions or push beyond the limits they have established.

After Your Session:

  • Handle Payment Respectfully: Settle the agreed-upon payment promptly and without haggling.

  • Practice Discretion: The privacy of your session is a two-way street. Respect the practitioner’s privacy just as you expect them to respect yours.

Our Commitment to Practitioner Professionalism

We strive to connect you with practitioners who uphold the highest standards of professional conduct. You should expect the following from any practitioner you connect with through our platform:

  • A Safe and Clean Environment: The session space, whether an incall studio or their equipment for an outcall, should be clean, safe, and professional.

  • Clear Communication: They should communicate clearly about their services, rates, and what to expect during the session.

  • Consent is Key: They will initiate the conversation about consent and will check in with you throughout the session to ensure you remain comfortable.

  • Absolute Respect for “No”: A professional practitioner will immediately and without question stop any action if you express discomfort or say “no.” They will never pressure you to continue.

Trust Your Instincts: Recognizing Red Flags

If at any point—before, during, or after—something feels wrong, trust that feeling.

Potential Red Flags Include:

  • Vague or evasive communication about services or rates.

  • Unprofessional or unclean appearance or environment.

  • Any attempt to ignore your stated boundaries.

  • Pressure to engage in activities you are not comfortable with.

  • Any behavior that makes you feel unsafe or disrespected.

If you encounter any of these red flags, you have the absolute right to end the interaction immediately. You do not owe anyone an explanation for prioritizing your own safety.

While we are a referral platform and not a party to your session, we take community feedback very seriously. If you have a safety concern, we encourage you to reach out to us via our Contact Page.

A safe, consensual, and respectful session is a shared responsibility. By working together, we can ensure that every experience is a positive one.
